Police in Bushenyi District have started the investigations into a case where a 33 year old Kenyan national dead mysteriously.
Marcial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson said the deceased was a student of medicine at Kampala International University western campus I’m Ishaka Bushenyi.
He identified the deceased as Isaac Otieno Ochola 33 a Kenyan National and a student of Kampala International University (KIU) Western Campus Ishaka Bushenyi District.
Alex Tumusiime 51 a peasant and resident of Ruharo Bushenyi Ishaka municipality who reported the matter to police said the incident happened at unknown time at Cell D, Bushenyi- Ishaka.
It’s alleged that the deceased was last seen on 09/05/2024 evening hours at his hostel where he has been staying, then he disappeared.
However on 10/05/2024 neighbours started getting bad smell coming from his room with flies moving around, they alerted the security guard who reported on 11/05/2024.
Tumusiime said different kinds of medicines like pethidine hydrochloride injections, Clonazepam and syringes found placed on table near the bed.
The body was found lying in prone position well dressed not covered with beddings and the body was conveyed to Kampala International University Teaching Hospital Mortuary for postmortem.
