(Portland) – Police in Portland, Oregon, discovered illegal drugs in a bag labeled “definitely not a bag full of drugs” during a traffic stop involving a stolen car.
The incident occurred when Portland police officers stopped a vehicle suspected to be stolen. Inside, officers found a driver and a passenger who, according to authorities, were involved in illegal activities. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered scales, cash, a loaded gun, and a small brown makeup bag humorously labeled “definitely not a bag full of drugs.”
However, despite the label, the bag contained over 10 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine, both highly controlled substances. Portland Police Bureau shared a photo of the recovered items, including the labeled bag, on social media platform X, generating significant public interest due to the irony of the label.
Local media reported that a man and woman present in the vehicle were arrested at the scene. They are now facing charges of drug possession as well as possession of a stolen vehicle, with the investigation ongoing.
