Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, confirmed the arrest, identifying the suspect as Vincent Nuwamanya. He is alleged to have played a key role in the murder of Ayesiga Shiana, the daughter of Michael Tugume, a resident of Omukacundezi Cell, Kisizi Parish, Nyarushanje Sub-County, Rukungiri District.
