Ugandans in Dubai Celebrate Achievements at Best of the Best People's Choice Awards 2023

Ugandans living in Dubai came together to celebrate exceptional individuals at the Best of the Best People’s Choice Awards 2023. The event, which took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dubai on September 29, 2023, aimed to acknowledge hardworking Ugandans residing and working in the city.

Harima Alyssa, the Public Relations Officer of MimZy Events, organized the awards. They invited members of the Ugandan community in Dubai to participate in the event, and voting was conducted through an online portal. Alyssa mentioned that their intention is to make this an annual event, emphasizing their commitment to recognizing and honoring outstanding Ugandans in Dubai.




The ceremony was hosted by Ugandan media personalities Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa and Sandra Lian Nabiyiki.

  11. Fashion Icon of the Year (Men): Ronnie Kish
  12. Fashion Icon of the Year (Women): Lician
  13. Artiste of the Year: Yaseen Rules

  16. Best African Restaurant: Mbombo Restaurant
