Saviour Secondary School has granted a full bursary to Nambajimana Junior, a former student of Rwaramba Secondary, who worked as a night watchman and cook.
The 18-year-old student has achieved outstanding results in the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), scoring 1A, 6Bs, and 2Cs.
On February 12th, 2025, The Ankole times published a news story about Nambajimana, an orphan raised by his single mother, Nyirahabizana Schola, a resident of Murambi Village, Rwaramba Parish, Nyakinama Sub-county.
Nambajimana’s daily routine was demanding. Before attending classes, he worked as a night watchman, providing security to the school premises. Early in the morning, he would prepare porridge for the boarding students before attending classes himself.
The director of Saviour Secondary School, Emmanuel Harerimana Mugorozi, granted Nambajimana a full bursary, with the only requirement being to purchase a school uniform.
Nambajimana will be studying the PCM combination at A-Level. Mugorozi acknowledged Nambajimana’s exceptional performance and urged him to continue excelling, with the possibility of securing a university bursary in the future.
Nambajimana expressed his gratitude to the school management for helping him achieve his long-term dream of studying PCM at A-Level without the financial burden.
He pledged to read hard, persistent and remain committed so that he can pass excellently in the A-Level results.
Meanwhile, Nyirahabizana Schola, Nambajimana’s mother, shared her joy and excitement with media fraternity news regarding her son’s achievement and the opportunity to study on a bursary.
