Rapper Mun*G has stated that the late Mowzey Radio was the only artist capable of competing with him in the realm of music, emphasizing Radio’s extensive collection of hit songs.
According to Mun*G, who made his breakthrough in the late 2000s under rapper GNL Zamba’s Baboon Forest music camp, Mowzey Radio was the only musician who could deliver a two-hour performance filled with one hit after another. He expressed his admiration for Radio’s ability to entertain a crowd with an extensive repertoire of songs.
During an interview with a local TV station, Mun*G questioned the audience, “Who can challenge me musically here? Who possesses the same content, hit for hit? There was only one person: Mowzey Radio. Now, who can match his extensive song catalog that could captivate a crowd for two hours? I’ve been in the industry for a decade.”
MunG and Mowzey Radio both emerged as musical talents around the late 2000s, with MunG working under GNL Zamba’s guidance, while Mowzey Radio and Weasel were rising to prominence. In the early 2010s, they collaborated on the track “Kankunganye,” receiving critical acclaim.
Mun*G also mentioned his latest song, “Shake Tables,” asserting that it has already become a favorite among many listeners, reminiscent of his initial hit “Ebintu” and subsequent releases.
