Museveni Launches Patriotism and Environmental Drive

Yoweri K Museveni, along with First Lady Janet, inaugurated the National Patriotism Environmental Protection campaign at Kitebi Secondary School in Rubaga Division, Kampala.

In his address, President Museveni commended Miss Hellen Seku and her team for effectively mobilizing the youth to champion patriotism and engage in efforts to conserve the environment. He emphasized the importance of patriotism in fostering prosperity. While acknowledging the significance of tribal identity, he underscored the need to prioritize common interests over tribal affiliations. Museveni stressed the importance of loving Uganda, East Africa, and the continent of Africa, as they are all essential for collective prosperity.




Shifting focus to education, President Museveni reiterated his previous call for government schools to abolish fees for students.
