Final List of Police Recruits Released Ahead of July 7 Reporting Date

Kampala, Uganda – The Uganda Police Force has officially released the final list of successful candidates selected for training as Probationer Police Constables (PPCs). The announcement was made by SP Patrick Jimmy Okema, the North Kyoga Region Police Spokesperson.

According to the statement, all successful recruits are expected to report to their assigned Police Training Schools on July 7th, 2025.




“This marks an important step in the recruitment and training process of new officers who will soon join the ranks of the Uganda Police Force,” SP Okema said.

Reporting Requirements and Guidelines

Recruits must report with both original and photocopies of their academic certificates and National Identity Card. In addition, candidates are required to bring specific personal, hygiene, and training items to facilitate their stay and participation in the training program.




Essential Items to Carry Include:

Academic Documents:




  • Original and photocopies of academic certificates

  • National Identity Card

Personal Items:

  • Four passport-sized photos

  • 3×6 mattress (max 4-inch thickness)

  • Two pairs of bed sheets

  • Tracksuit and two T-shirts

  • Canvas shoes, gumboots, and at least four pairs of thick cotton stockings

Hygiene Supplies:

  • Two bars of soap

  • Toothpaste and toothbrush

  • Towel and razor blades

  • Eating utensils (spoon, fork, plate, and cup)

  • Six rolls of toilet paper

  • Two packets of sanitary pads (for female recruits)

Stationery:




  • Two blue pens

  • Three counter books

  • 10-liter plastic jerrycan

  • Plastic basin or bucket

Training Centers

Candidates will report to one of the designated Police Training Schools, as indicated on the official list:

  • PTS Kabalye, Masindi District

  • PTS Ekafe, Yumbe District

  • PTS Olilim, Katakwi District

Accessing the List

The full list of successful candidates has been published on the Uganda Police Force website and is also available on the notice boards at local Police Stations across the country.
