AMOLATAR, UGANDA – Green Valley Nursery and Primary School has cemented its status as the academic powerhouse of Amolatar District after being officially ranked the top-performing school in the recently released 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) Mock rankings.
The results, confirmed by the Amolatar District Academic Board, reveal a historic and flawless achievement: a 100% pass rate, with all 51 candidates passing in the coveted Division 1, 2, and 3 categories. This stellar performance sets a formidable benchmark for academic excellence in the region.
The school’s success is further highlighted by the spectacular individual achievements of its pupils. Olobo Clive Enock led the charge as one of the top three best boys in the entire district with an impressive aggregate of 4. He was closely followed by Tike Rebecca Pearl, ranked among the top three best girls with an aggregate of 6. They were joined by other high flyers including Ejula Caiphus (Aggregate 5), Angwech Mirrickah (Aggregate 7), and Apolo Sharon Charity (Aggregate 7).
On Monday, September 15th, the school’s leadership addressed the media, expressing confidence and outlining the philosophy behind their success.
Mr. Jackson Katagala , the Headteacher of Green Valley Nursery and primaryschool, attributed the victory to a deeply ingrained culture of hard work and commitment. “We are incredibly proud of our students and teachers. This result is a testament to their dedication and the relentless pursuit of excellence that we foster here,” he stated. “We are dedicated to providing high-quality education with excellent performance to compete with other top schools, and these results confirm we are on the right path. Parents should expect good results from us in the national exams.”
Mr. Katagala Jackson also called on parents to prioritize Green Valley for their children’s education, affirming that the school has “set new standards in education” for Amolatar.
Echoing the headteacher’s sentiments, the Managing Director, Mr. Ongom, emphasized that this excellence is accessible to all. “Our mission has always been twofold: achieve academic greatness while ensuring we cater for poor pupils so they can attend and receive a good education,” Mr. Onom said. “To that end, I am pleased to announce the school’s plans to continue providing this quality education at affordable prices.
