Aruu County MP, Hon. Komakech Christopher, has pledged to improve healthcare services at Awere Health Centre IV in Pader District. During a visit on Monday, March 10, 2025, the MP engaged with patients and health facility administrators to assess the challenges they face and offer his support.

One of the primary issues raised during his visit was the shortage of a stationed doctor at the facility. Hon. Komakech assured the community that he would work diligently to address this issue and ensure that the health centre receives the necessary support to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Aruu County.

The visit, which was part of the MP’s ongoing efforts to address the healthcare needs of his constituents, also included Pader Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Amos Assimwe, Assistant RDC Robert Komakech Obina, and other local officials.

This collaboration reflects the MP’s commitment to working closely with local leaders to bring about positive change in the community.

Aruu County, which was part of Kitgum District before its creation, now comprises both Aruu North and Aruu County.

As a first-time MP elected in 2021 on an independent ticket, Hon. Komakech has been dedicated to improving the lives of his constituents and addressing the unique challenges they face.
