The Bufumbira East Legislator James Nsaba Buturo has launched the 4-day the capacity building training session, where he called upon the people of Kisoro were today asked to embrace mindset to change initiatives aimed at transforming their lives.
This is being held at St. Paul’s Mutolere SS in Nyakabande Subcounty Bufumbira East in Kisoro district aimed at empowering the residents at in promoting enterprise growth and excellence.
Honourable Nsaba Buturo urged the public to adopt mindset changes approaches so for maximum utilization of Parish Development Model Funds, Emyooga funds, Youth Livelihood programs and other government funding in order to sustain the desirable standards of living.
He further acknowledged Enterprise Uganda for the transformation of livelihoods in Kisoro district and Uganda at is a multifaceted issue that requires a comprehensive approach innovation, creativity and wealth creation.
Honourable Nsaba Buturo noted,” Enterprise Uganda is the only organization that we are having in Uganda that is offering unique and quality services playing a crucial role in enhancing economic welfare’.

The Deputy Resident district commissioner Robert Tukamuhabwa charged the attendants to implement all that will be taught.
Tukamuhebwa criticized the traditional behaviours encountering progress in Kisoro such as polygamous, early marriages and producing of many children which have automated land fragmentation in the district, he implored the people to use the knowledge imparted by the Enterprise Uganda to innovate and come up with new production ideologies.
The executive director for Enterprise Uganda Charles Ocici tipped the attendants to hold the trainings imparted so as to benefit at the end of the Enterprise Uganda’s sessions in Kisoro district.
Ocic noted,” we are not here to give you capital to start up businesses, but we are here to give you knowledge to create your self sustaining businesses, I know some of you misused PDM and Emyooga funds but that one doesn’t matter even if your remaining with fifty thousand it enough to make you a billionaire with in a period of only two years”.
Additionally, the Marketing executive officer at Enterprise Uganda, Judith Ineku charged the attendants with the task to change on their working approaches. She further urged the participants to make sure they adopt changes in their own lives.
“Hard work will help you to achieve your goals and objectives through Consistently putting in effort can boost self-confidence and self-esteem, Overcoming obstacles and challenges can foster resilience and perseverance, dedicated effort can lead to significant improvements in skills and expertise and A strong work ethic can earn respect and admiration from others”, Ineku noted
Meanwhile the Assistant chief administrative officer Manasseh Rukundo thanked Enterprise Uganda for considering Kisoro in such benefiting projects.
The session is slated to close on Friday 6th December 2024 and all the beneficiaries will be awarded with certificates
