Kabale Municipal council has described the fallen former Mayor Dr. Pius Ruhemurana as a mentor and faithful leader.
Speaking in the special sitting for the send off of Dr. Pius Ruhemurana who served for 20 years as Kabale Municipality mayor councilors lead by Twahirwa Anteli the councilor LCIV representing elder persons, Joelia Kakooza who was the deputy mayor during Ruhemurana’s reign among described him as a person who introduced many to political arena and served diligently for the development of Kabale municipality.
“He was a selflessly person both as a professional gynecologist and political leader,”Kakooza eulogised.
The Kabale Municipality speaker Deogratias Byamukama said,” Dr. Ruhemurana served as an exemplary leader both as the municipal political head and Kabale Diocese head of laity.”
Emmanuel Sentaro Byamugisha the Kabale municipal mayor who succeeded the late Dr. Ruhemurana described him as a committed leader to justice and transparency
Dr. Pius Ruhemurana’s body will be laid to rest on Friday 26th April 25, 2024 in Kashumuruzi village, Kitanga parish Kashambya sub county Rukiga district.
