Over 20 KAZI–NI–KAZI diehards in Katakwi District have crossed to Team Ogwang Peter, the State Minister for Education and Sports and the area MP for Ngariam County.
Johnson Oleumo, the chairperson of Ocorimongin for Tomorrow Savings Group, stated on January 28, 2024, that all agreed to support Ogwang following his method of work.
Those who crossed include Samuel Erepun, Gabriel Onyu, Patrick Okure-Ipadala, Ignatius Tayari—locally known as X-Control, Samuel Erepun, among others.
The business community, opinion leaders, and youth leaders said their departure from the founder of Kazi ni Kazi, Daniel Mulalu, came from their hearts and cannot be reversed.
Ojune and Charles Oboyomo of Ocorimongin Church of Uganda thanked Ogwang for donating 100 bags of cement and 100 pieces of iron sheets for the construction of the God’s house. The Minister was invited by a section of Christians for yesterday’s prayers.
Ogwang took the chance to educate the public about the existing government programs like PDM, EMYOOGA, and others.
