Kole Woman MP Hon. Judith Alyek Donates UGX 3.3 Million in Aid to Namugongo Pilgrims

Namugongo, Uganda – Hon. Judith Alyek, the current Woman Member of Parliament for Kole District and an aspiring candidate for the same seat in the 2026 general election under the NRM ticket, has extended a generous donation worth UGX 3.3 million to pilgrims at Namugongo.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, MP Alyek personally delivered her contribution, which included several cartons of soda and water. Demonstrating her commitment to the community, she also participated in the kitchen, helping to cook food for pilgrims primarily from Kole and the wider Lango sub-region.




Hon. Alyek is known as a committed leader, deeply rooted in the community, whose vision for Kole District emphasizes understanding and addressing the needs of her constituents, including those within the religious sector.




Her leadership approach is centered on community engagement, empathy, and responsiveness, through which she seeks to build a stronger, more resilient Kole District where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.




MP Alyek, who also serves as the chairperson of the Lango Parliamentary Group (LPG) and has brought significant positive changes to the leadership of the Lango sub-region, has pledged to rejoin thousands of pilgrims at Namugongo on June 3, 2025.
