The Ankole Times

Popular Canada based anti Museveni news website- perilofafrica.com has reportedly been hijacked by with owners pointing an accusing finger at the government of Uganda.

The website is one of a range of platforms owned and funded by Ugandan born Canadian human rights activist, Martha Leah Nangalama who hails from Bududa, Eastern Uganda.

Nangalama, a renowned Canadian Imcyber expert has been running a number of news platforms hostile to the government of Uganda whom she consistently accuse of human rights violations and corruption. Among the sites, include perilofafrica.com, africanperil.com, changeofguards.com, among others.

“Hey guys, looks like Peril will be off for posting for the rest of this week. Remember the news is still up but we can’t log into the database to post. Our Geek has silly exams and won’t get around to fixing the website which doesn’t cure cancer. Consider this week your paid 1 week vacation. Because I still have to pay you at month end even if this week, you have not posted a Damn Thing. Also, do not ask me when the site will be up. I don’t know pressure. Also, don’t send me things to post because I also can’t get into the damn database. Write & keep. You will post after our Geek fixes.” Nangalama is quoted informing her staff.

“The website was hijacked and we are trying to fix it from the hosting company’s side. In the meantime, you can enjoy some of our old articles on this link.

The website can still be accessed by readers visiting but admins are unable to add new content.

For two days, the proprietor of the site has for a couple of days been fighting to repossess the site with that hackers seemingly ahead of her cyber team.

Change of Guards and Peril of Africa have been very vocal outlets for hugely damaging exclusives ranging from top secret corruption and high profile murders.

Nangalama is also said to be targeted by the Kampala regime over her publicly professed adoration for Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) President, General Gregory Mugisha Muntu.

She relocated to Canada in 1987, just a year after President Museveni took power in 1986.
