In a move that has left many both shocked and amused, Mzee Magala, a popular TikTok sensation known for his humorous outlook on life, has literally dug his own grave to spare his children from the financial burden of planning his funeral.

During a recent appearance on NTV’s *Mwasuze Mutya*, Magala shared that after witnessing many families struggle to raise funeral funds, he decided to take matters into his own hands—quite literally. “I don’t know what my children’s financial situation will be when I die,” Magala explained. “I don’t want them stressed with funeral costs, so I dug my own grave.”

Magala, who only completed Primary Two before leaving school to make a living selling brooms, spoke about how he had seen children borrow transport money just to attend a funeral, only to be asked to contribute for burial expenses. “It’s heartbreaking,” he said. “I don’t want that for my family.”

In his characteristic witty style, Magala turned what many might find a grim topic into a lighthearted discussion, leaving both the audience and viewers online applauding his practical approach to life.

His TikTok fame and his unique life choices have made him a household name, further solidifying his reputation as a village hero and a voice of wisdom wrapped in humor.
