Socialite, media personality, and social media influencer Sheilah Gashumba has decided to roast the national carrier, Uganda Airlines, over its business class services.

Taking to her X page, she posted a picture showing the business class seats of one of the airline’s aircraft. She claimed that this was the state of the seats for flights going to top global destinations.

The former NBS After 5 presenter then vented about how she had been ripped off, as the services didn’t match the value of the money she paid. Sheilah also mentioned that these services wouldn’t be changing anytime soon, as most of the bigger planes are now flying only to Lagos and Lusaka.

She advised her audience to just pay for the economy class instead of the business class since the services were essentially the same.

“Meanwhile, this is the business class of @UG_Airlines for flights going to a top world destination, South Africa! Just got ripped off a couple of bucks for the next 4 hours. Apparently, this won’t change anytime soon, as the bigger planes are now flying only to Lagos and Lusaka! Shame! Might as well just pay for economy if you were planning to travel to SA this season,” she revealed.

The airline has faced immense criticism ever since its launch a few years ago. Many passengers have taken to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the services provided aboard the carrier. However, Uganda Airlines has also experienced significant growth throughout the years it has been in operation.
