Michael Moone and Bridget Basiima continued their winning streak from last season by emerging victorious in the Overall and Ladies categories respectively at the MTN Monthly Tee held at the Lakeside Entebbe Golf Club on Saturday.
Moone, who secured the Order of Merit for Men in the previous season, showcased his prowess by posting a nett score of 68 on count back, securing the top spot in the monthly event which saw participation from 174 golfers. Meanwhile, Bridget Basiima, a two-time Order of Merit Ladies winner, claimed victory with a nett score of 69.
In the Men’s Group A category, Michael Tumusiime clinched the title with a nett score of 74 on count back, narrowly edging out Dr. Peter Apell.
Saidi Kirarira emerged victorious in Group B with a nett score of 69 on count back, defeating Albert Gitta for the top honours. In Group C, Emma Mugabi secured the win with a nett score of 68 on count back.
Edith Wamalwa finished as the runner-up in the Ladies category with a nett score of 72. The Seniors category saw Jamil Maningi emerge victorious with a nett score of 76 on count back, while Ivan Ssettimba claimed the Guest Winner title with a nett score of 68.
