Nebbi, Uganda – The Minister in charge of the Presidency, Hon. Milly Babirye Babalanda, has commended the current breed of RDCs as hardworking and committed team players. The Minister was officially opening the new office of RDC Nebbi in Nebbi district on Wednesday.
She said the current RDCs are good and disciplined because they have been trained and know what to do. The Minister asked RDCs, as field officers, to ensure government programs are properly monitored and supervised.
She advised people not to view RDCs as enemies but as partners in development. Hon. Babalanda urged leaders to fight corruption to ensure proper service delivery. She encouraged people to embrace programs like PDM and Emyooga to alleviate poverty.
One of the RDCs, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Minister for Presidency Milly Babalanda is a kind-hearted person who has always guided several RDCs to peacefully carry out their work and monitor government programs in their respective districts of deployment.
Obongi RDC Samuel Mpimbasa Hasaka commended Hon. Minister Babalanda for being a very brilliant leader and always very cooperative in her work in the Office of the President.
