Makula KiKa TV focuses on promoting local talent and content, distinguishing itself from Makula TV, which primarily airs non-stop series.

In a recent development, Spice Diana has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the newly launched TV channel, Makula KiKa. The announcement was made by Aldrine Nsubuga, the vice president of StarTimes Media Group, ahead of their 35th-anniversary celebrations.

Makula KiKa TV, with the tagline “ekirungo kyekyo” loosely translated to mean ‘the perfect spice,’ aims to provide a unique blend of local entertainment, showcasing and promoting local talent and content. This is in contrast to Makula TV, which primarily focuses on non-stop series.




Aldrine Nsubuga expressed that Spice Diana’s stature as a prominent female artist in Uganda makes her a natural fit for the role of brand ambassador. He believes that her association with the channel will not only resonate with their existing subscribers but also attract new customers.




Spice Diana’s new ambassadorship with Makula KiKa TV marks a significant collaboration between the singer and the TV channel, further enhancing her presence in the entertainment industry.
