This year’s edition, themed “Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam,” marks a significant milestone for the event as it celebrates two decades of bringing music enthusiasts together.

Since its inception eight years ago, Roast and Rhyme, organized by Swangz Avenue, has served as a platform for over 100 talented artists and has attracted a diverse audience of more than 50,000 enthusiastic revelers. The event has played a pivotal role in supporting Uganda’s vibrant music scene and showcasing the country’s rich musical heritage.
Cindy Sanyu’s participation in this year’s edition marks her debut appearance at Roast and Rhyme. As one of Uganda’s most celebrated artists, known affectionately as the “King Herself,” Cindy promises to deliver an electrifying live performance that will leave a lasting impression on her fans.
