Fitness Program Launches to Combat Chronic Disease in Uganda Police Force

(Kampala) - The Uganda Police Force has launched a physical fitness program aimed at improving the health of its officers and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

(Kampala) – Today, the Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, announced the start of a comprehensive physical fitness program for the entire Uganda Police Force.

This initiative is designed to enhance the physical health of officers and help prevent chronic diseases.

The program began at Police Headquarters in Naguru and is set to be conducted regularly.

During the launch, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, James Ocaya, joined the exercise along with various directors and department heads.

Their participation serves as a positive example for other officers within the force.
