With their affordable accommodation prices, these hotels are among the favorites in the region.
There are also other hotels such as Mt. Moroto Hotel, Hotel Africana, and many others.
For those who prefer to unwind in their rooms, there is pay TV. Speaking of rooms, guests can opt to stay in cottages or the rooms at the hotel. All these are self-contained and fitted with king-sized beds.
All these hotels have their highest cost of accommodation ranging from Shs 80,000 to Shs 240,000, inclusive of breakfast. The hotels are connected to the national power grid but also have a standby generator.
Away from unwinding, all these hotels have conference halls with a seating capacity of up to 500 people.
Mr. Mohamed Isamil, the Mayor of Moroto Municipality, said his leadership is committed to seeing Moroto become one of the best towns.
“We are expecting hundreds of our friends from Kenya to cross and celebrate Christmas in Moroto, and this will be an opportunity for the traders of Moroto to make money,” he said.
He noted that challenges of accommodation in Moroto are now history.
It should be noted that Moroto Municipality, in the last five years, had only 300 rooms for accommodation in the entire Municipality, but currently, there are 10,000 rooms for accommodation, including rooms from smaller guest houses.
