Western Uganda – Presidential aspirant Dan Matsiko Malcom has issued a festive message to Ugandans ahead of the Easter weekend, urging citizens to reject what he terms “cheap offers” from ruling party politicians and “looters” within the opposition.
Matsiko emphasized that Ugandans desire “decent and gainful jobs,” not “groceries or crumbs under the table.” He called upon voters, particularly the youth, to elect a leader who offers genuine hope for employment opportunities. “No more foolery, dear folks,” he stated.
Matsiko emphasized that his leadership will focus on:
-
Massive decent jobs: Prioritizing employment creation for the nation.
-
Constitutionalism: Upholding the rule of law.
-
Non-skewed development: Ensuring equitable development across the country.
-
Reinstating presidential term limits: Limiting the tenure of the presidency.
-
Ending corruption, poverty, and political patronage: Tackling these systemic issues.
-
Cabinet reform: Appointing new leaders to his cabinet, rather than “recycling the same old and tired guards.”
-
Public service tenure limits: Implementing a 10-year service limit for all public servants, with five-year contracts renewable only once—from local council officials to cabinet ministers. Exceptions will be made for teachers and medical professionals, who will be allowed a maximum of 20 years in government service.
-
Economic revitalization: Making Uganda attractive to citizens and neighboring countries through ample employment opportunities.
“Come 2026, I am ready to be Uganda’s Donald Trump—a bold, unconventional leader who will make Uganda attractive not only for its own citizens but also for our neighbors, through the creation of inclusive and gainful employment,” he said.
Best wishes from Team Matsiko Dan for President of Uganda.
Above all, travel safely, celebrate responsibly, and stay alive to witness the political revolution on 9th January 2026—a revolution driven by numerical strength and the will of the people, not bullets.
