Kampala, Uganda – The Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Her Excellency Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo, together with Rt. Hon. Speaker Anita Among and Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of the Lango Zone, Hon. Sam Engola, accompanied H.E. the President, Gen. Yoweri Museveni, to the NRM Headquarters to witness him pick nomination forms as he seeks to retain his positions as the NRM National Chairman and Presidential Candidate.
Hon. Sam Engola believes in driving change by working hand-in-hand with the President and senior NRM cadres to advance the struggle for socio-economic transformation, as championed by the President.
H.E. the President was welcomed by a large crowd of supporters as he arrived to collect his nomination papers from the ruling party’s offices in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
Gen. Yoweri Museveni has overseen tremendous development in Uganda since 1986. He has been elected six times through free and fair elections conducted by the independent Electoral Commission.
In Erute South Constituency, Lira District, Hon. Sam Engola is gaining momentum daily ahead of the NRM MP flag bearer primaries. He has earned the trust of H.E. the President, who recently appointed him as Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Lango Affairs.
This marks the beginning of a bold, people-centered journey to transform Uganda’s future with unwavering courage, a clear vision, and a heart for the people.
Hon. Sam Engola commended the President for the symbolic act of picking nomination forms, calling it a clear demonstration of his readiness to serve, uplift, and empower the country through the NRM ideology and core principles.
“Let’s rally behind President Museveni — the father of the nation and the hope of the Bazzukulu — for a better economy and wealth creation,” said Hon. Sam Engola.
