The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairman for Amolatar District, Mr. Kamilo Olwit, has projected a decisive 90% victory for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the party’s flag bearers in the 2026 general elections within the district.

Speaking from his office on Monday, Olwit based his confident prediction on a significant surge from the 2021 election results, where he stated President Museveni secured approximately 75% of the vote in Amolatar.

Olwit called for unwavering unity within the NRM ranks and a consolidated backing for all party flag bearers, emphasizing that a united front is crucial for the anticipated overwhelming victory.

In a direct message to voters, the district chairperson urged those entertaining the possibility of an opposition takeover to reconsider, asserting that the NRM remains robust and destined to continue leading Uganda.

“Let me remind those who think the opposition will take up government to change their mind and support the NRM because the NRM is still strong and will lead Uganda,” Olwit stated.

He concluded with a rallying call, asking the people of Amolatar to turn out in force and cast their votes for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and all NRM flag bearers in the forthcoming elections, reinforcing the party’s message of continuity and development.
