Denis Senono, also known as Denicity, a NUP LCIII councillor in Kawempe, was abducted yesterday evening near the National Unity Platform (NUP) Kavule headquarters.

Senono, who is a familiar face at NUP press conferences and activities, is known for always holding the national flag. According to NUP, he is currently being held in an unknown location, and no communication has been made regarding his whereabouts.

NUP has condemned the abduction, calling it part of a growing trend of targeting their supporters and leaders. The party urged Ugandans to speak out against such actions.

This incident is part of a series of similar events where political activists have allegedly been abducted by security forces, raising concerns about the safety of opposition figures in the country.
