Post Bank Uganda is mourning the untimely death of Herbert Niwagaba, a senior staff member who served as the Head of Administration. Niwagaba played a crucial role in transforming the government-owned financial institution, leaving a lasting impact on its development.
The announcement of Niwagaba’s passing was made with deep sadness, emphasizing his significance not only as a colleague but as a cherished member of the PostBank fraternity. Described as someone who brought warmth, kindness, and dedication to every task, Herbert Niwagaba was remembered for his positive influence on those fortunate enough to work alongside him.
During this difficult time, Post Bank Uganda expressed heartfelt condolences to Herbert’s family, keeping them in their thoughts and prayers. The loss of Niwagaba, who was an alumnus of Kigezi High School (class of 1996-2001), is also keenly felt by the people of Rukiga district (Kamwezi), where he was recognized as a gallant son.
Moses Karugaba, one of Niwagaba’s classmates, shared fond memories of their time together and highlighted Herbert’s achievements, such as being the overall best performer in the National Maths contest. Expressing condolences and prayers for Niwagaba’s family, especially his wife Bakunzi Christine and their children, Karugaba fondly remembered the good times they shared.
