Our Reporter, Mbale City – The LCV chairmen and Members of Parliament from the Bugisu region will meet the Inzu Ya Masaba cultural leader, His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, tomorrow, Tuesday 4th, at the Inzu Ya Masaba cultural offices in Maluku.
This was disclosed to the Ankole Times platform by the institution’s spokesperson, Mr. Steven Masiga.
The meeting by Umukuka is meant to brief the Members of Parliament and LCV chairmen, as key stakeholders of the institution, about a series of programs that the Inzu Ya Masaba is undertaking.
The Umukuka III of Inzu Ya Masaba, His Royal Highness Jude Mike Mudoma, will update the MPs and LCV chairmen of Bugisu about the upcoming Imbalu ceremony slated for August 3rd, among other topics.
Mr. Steven Masiga, the spokesperson of the institution, said that Bugisu’s 25 Members of Parliament and about seven District chairmen, including the Mbale City Mayor, will meet the cultural leader at 9 AM at the Inzu Ya Masaba offices.
Umukuka will recognize the local governments for their roles in supporting the cultural institution, including necessary policy and financial support. Cultural institutions are established with the blessings of local governments, as mandated by the law.
