Over 25,000 Locals in Pader Benefits from Amref Projects

The office of the Pader district chairperson on 27th of September 2023 revealed that a total of 28,100 have reportedly benefited from the Amref ongoing projects in the district since their entrance in the district.




The projects in question through coordinated approach, with funding from Pwf and water for all, has put in place 6 solar powered water systems, six waterborne toilets, rehabilitated 30 bore holes and trained community members on sanitation behavioral change promotion.




Mr Justine Ocen, the Pader district vice chairperson, says they were glad to announce the commissioning of the Amref project in Pader district.




“The project which has been implemented in Puranga and Tenam sub counties have benefited six schools with a total enrollment of 5,100 pupils and 23,000 community members,” Ocen narrates. He further urged locals to take care of these installations.
