The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Kigezi region has eulogized Minister Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke as the best hardworking and best-performing minister in the ruling government.
These remarks were made today in a council session held in Mugahe village, Nyakabingo ward, Chahi Subcounty, Kisoro District during the send-off ceremony of the late Honorable Minister Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke.
Nelson Nshangabasheija, the coordinator of the Patriotic League of Uganda and Chairperson LC5 Kabale District, expressed his deep sorrow to the people of Kisoro for the death of the best hardworking and a unifying factor in the politics of Kigezi region and Uganda as a whole.
Nelson noted that Minister Sarah enhanced credibility, role modeling, employment growth and development, and improved strong team cohesion, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose among team members.

Sam Kajojo, the Vice Coordinator of the Patriotic League of Uganda and the Chairperson LC5 Kanungu, expressed that the late Sarah Nyirabashitsi Mateke inspired and motivated many of the youth to join politics across Kigezi region.
He urged Kigezi political leaders to continue the work Sarah started in fighting price fluctuations of tea and other cash crops and minerals across the Kigezi region.

Ndyana Richard, the publicity secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda and the Kisoro Municipality mayor, eulogized the late minister as a dependable, hardworking, non-sectarian, peacemaker, and developmental member of Parliament.
