Bobi Wine, the leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), experienced a significant turnout during his visit to Mbarara City, defying numerous challenges. The tour kicked off with a visit to Endigyito FM radio station, where his address to the audience was abruptly cut short by the station’s sudden shutdown.
Undeterred, the tour progressed to the inauguration of their local offices within the city. Subsequently, the entourage gathered at Global High School playground, providing Bobi Wine an opportunity to convey his message to the residents of Mbarara.
Bobi Wine’s tour is set to persist, with plans to reach Fort Portal in the coming days.
