Renovation of a three-classroom block at Yenga Primary School in Palorinya Sub-county, carried out at UGX 55.7 million.
The construction and renovations were funded by Palm Corps in partnership with the Stromme Foundation.
RDC Hashaka commended the two organizations for their continued support in complementing government efforts and for aligning with the NRM Manifesto, particularly in the promotion and improvement of Universal Primary Education (UPE) in Obongi District.
While commissioning the facilities, the RDC urged all development partners in the region to uphold quality standards and ensure value for money in every project. He also discouraged corruption and embezzlement, which he described as a growing vice among some civil servants in the district.
