Senior Presidential Advisor in charge of Lango sub-region, Hon. Sam Engola, has contributed one million shillings to Namugongo pilgrims from Lango.
Honorable Sam Engola demonstrated profound compassion as he visited the resting point of the foot soldiers en route to the Namugongo pilgrimage, offering a generous donation of one million Ugandan shillings.
This invaluable contribution aims to address their immediate basic needs, providing essential support during their pilgrimage journey. It was commended and appreciated by many Christians in Erute South and Lango sub-region. Engola’s act of kindness not only showcases his dedication to community welfare but also exemplifies the spirit of solidarity and sympathy.
One of the pilgrims, only identified as Okello B.B., described Engola’s gesture as a bridge of good leadership and serves as a guiding light, illuminating the path of compassion and reminding them of the importance of lending a helping hand to those on their journey of faith.
Sam Engola has contributed generously to the education sector, churches, community groups, among others. He is also contesting as the Erute South MP hopeful in the 2026 general elections.
