The Annual Bankers Sports Gala is an event organized by the Uganda Bankers Association in collaboration with the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services. This year, golf was included as one of the activities to commemorate the gala. Other activities featured in the event included a 30-day fitness challenge, quiz games, and various outdoor and indoor games.

The gala also provided an opportunity for several bank CEOs to learn and enjoy the game of golf at the Uganda Golf Club’s golf and putting range.

Akura Mugyenyi, the captain of Bank of Uganda’s team, expressed the central bank’s joy at winning this year’s tournament, which marked its first edition. Leading banks in Kampala participated in this inaugural event.
