Coach Ayub Khalifa Unveils Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Roster for Mozambique Trip

Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Head Coach, Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi, has revealed the squad that will travel to Mozambique for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers. The Queen Cranes will face Mozambique in the first preliminary round, with the first leg scheduled for Saturday, October 7th, at Campo da ABB Matola Stadium. The return leg will take place at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, on October 13th, 2023.

The squad comprises 20 players, including three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and five forwards. They will depart from Uganda on Thursday morning at 2:45 am aboard Ethiopian Airlines. FUFA Executive Committee Member, Rogers Byamukama, will accompany the team as the Leader of Delegation.
