Kenyan golf veteran, Dismas Indiza, secured a remarkable victory at the 2023 Johnnie Walker Uganda Golf Open, marking his seventh professional title and a triumphant comeback since 2018.
Indiza, known for his powerful drives, concluded the four-day tournament with a stellar performance, carding an impressive 11 under par 277. The victory was hard-fought, with Uganda’s Ronald Mugumya leading for the initial three days before falling short by three shots on the final day.
The tournament’s key sponsor, Johnnie Walker, along with co-sponsors such as Absa Bank Uganda, Pinnacle Security Limited, Crown Beverages, HK Properties, Medisell, Case Medical Services, NCS, HTC Hub, and Royal and Ancient, contributed to the success of the event.
