Moroto, Uganda – A new method of customer care that the management of Moroto Resort Hotel has introduced ahead of the Christmas festival season has left other hotels in Moroto municipality wondering, as many customers prefer chilling at a one-year-established hotel, which is like a newborn in Moroto Municipality.
In fact, some people who are experiencing stress at their homes prefer running to cool their tempers at Moroto Resort Hotel instead of engaging in physical fights that could later turn into criminal offenses.
At the entrance of the hotel, waitresses stand, welcoming any guest with a rare smile that no one gets from their respective homes. A small glass of juice is given to customers, and a cool and shining compound inside the dress space of the hotel helps to cool the hot sunshine someone braved walking under.
At the bar section of the hotel, rare drinks and whiskeys such as red or black label, single tone, sheridance, and many others are available.
Away from that, local dishes are the best, as we are aware that health experts have on several occasions warned the public against over-consuming oily food. Many people now resort to eating unoily food.
Moroto Resort Hotel has emerged as the only hotel in the Municipality where fried food is treated as a terrorist. The hotel serves only purely local dishes without a single drop of oil, which everyone runs for. They also provide honey for those who don’t take sugar, something which can’t be obtained for free in other hotels.
Another rare thing that has attracted many people to this hotel is that when there is any party like a birthday party, the hotel also contributes a free compound and a goat for roasting, while the organizers of the party cater for drinks within the hotel.
With now less than a few weeks to Christmas, the hotel has stocked enough drinks, local food, refreshed the waitresses, and is ready to work day and night.
Matthew Okiror, one of the customers, said he prefers Moroto Resort Hotel due to its silence.
“When it comes to order, they work faster, and that’s so good,” he said.
