Oyaro Moses, the LC One Chairman of Tekidi cell, Dog Gudu ward, Alito town council in Kole district, has been granted 5 million Shillings to buy a brand new motorcycle by Her Excellency the Vice President of Uganda, Jessica Alupo, on behalf of His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda, Gen. Yoweri Museveni Kaguta.
During his speech, Oyaro had earlier requested the Vice President of Uganda, Jessica Alupo, to convey to His Excellency the President to provide him with a motorcycle to assist in his mobilization efforts.
“If the LC 1 Chairman is still around, he can come for the motorcycle. Let him come,” instructed the Vice President as she handed over the money designated for buying a motorcycle to the LC One Chairman, adding that the motorcycle is a gift from H.E the President. She emphasized that when moving around, he should mention that the President has given him a motorcycle.
Mourners expressed deep happiness, appreciating the government of the NRM for considering the LC1 Chairman’s request. On the other hand, Mr. Oyaro Moses, the LC1 Chairman, was filled with joy after receiving the money.
In an interview with The Ankole Times after receiving the funds, he stated that he would mobilize votes for President Museveni as a token of appreciation for the support he has received.
