Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba was appointed Commander Land Forces on June 24, 2021, an assignment he executed for less than two years with excellent achievements, including:
- Addressing the welfare of soldiers
- Promoting political education in the army
- Enhancing combat training and capabilities
- Gazetting Bombo Barracks to avoid intruders
- Addressing the health of soldiers.
In the short time Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba served as Commander Land Forces, he earned the rank of a four-star General, the highest rank in the Ugandan military, because of his remarkable achievements in the UPDF.
Before that, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba served as the commander of the Elite Force “Special Forces Command” (SFC), where he performed excellently. He established SFC headquarters with modern infrastructure, ensured high levels of discipline and loyalty among SFC commandos to the Commander-in-Chief, and had the best-trained elite force on the African continent.
Wherever Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is deployed by the Commander-in-Chief, he always earns himself a positive reputation and advances to the highest rank.
All patriots are celebrating his appointment as the new Chief of Defence Forces, an assignment we believe will directly pave the way for him to lead Uganda as our 10th President.
As a determined patriot, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has inspired many youths to love and join the army in defense of our territorial boundaries.
The appointment as CDF gives all supporters confidence and hope in Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba becoming Uganda’s 10th President in 2026.
