Awongo Patrick Ogwal Encourages Voters to Utilize the Extended 7-Day EC Voter Update Exercise.

All is set for Mr. Awongo Patrick Ogwal to run for the Kole North constituency seat under the NRM party ticket, as he encourages voters to participate in the ongoing Electoral Commission voter update exercise.

As the race for the Kole North Parliamentary seat heats up, NRM aspirant Awongo Patrick Ogwal has intensified his village-to-village consultations ahead of the 2026 general elections, directly engaging with voters across the constituency.




Against this backdrop, Awongo Patrick Ogwal has come out openly to mobilize voters to make use of the additional one-week extension of the EC update exercise.




In an exclusive interaction with several voters in Corner Molem, Aboke Town Council, Kole North, on Monday, Awongo encouraged the electorate to update their particulars with the Electoral Commission in order to ensure they are eligible voters.




A vibrant cadre and successful NRM mobilizer, Awongo has lined up a team of supporters who are reaching out to residents in all the villages, sub-counties, and town councils in his consultation for the 2026 election, especially in Kole North County. He noted that a fully registered voter is crucial for the success of the 2026 election.

Awongo is focused on mobilizing support from youth, women, elders, and people from all walks of life, emphasizing empowerment programs aimed at socio-economic transformation and wealth creation.

Awongo Ogwal has pledged to advocate for increased, timely support for youth groups, women’s groups, skills development projects, and startup capital for NRM leaders and other electorate members once elected as an MP.




On Sunday, Awongo was endorsed by the Kole NRM DEC, where he promised to resolve long-standing issues in Kole North, positioning himself as a candidate ready to drive real transformation in NRM leadership, ensuring that the people (Wanahinci) benefit from his leadership without any segregation based on party, religion, culture, or personality.
