FUFA, the governing body for football in Uganda, has announced the locations where tickets for the Uganda Cranes’ 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier matches against Botswana and Algeria can be purchased. This information was disclosed to the media during a press conference held on Wednesday by a FUFA Executive Committee Member and Executive Secretary responsible for Marketing and Communications at the FUFA Complex.

During the press conference, it was revealed that there are four designated ticket selling centers:

  1. FUFA Complex in Mengo
  2. MTN Momo
  3. Namboole Online Platform
  4. Tangosport in Jinja

The FUFA representative emphasized the importance of purchasing tickets only from these authorized centers to prevent instances of fraud.

Additionally, it was confirmed that ticket sales would commence on Wednesday at 2 PM East African Time (EAT). The spokesperson mentioned that while sales would begin at the four initial centers, efforts are underway to expand the selling points, with updates to be provided in due course.

The tickets will be available in three categories: Ordinary, VIP, and Platinum. Each category will have different prices for both matches:

  • Ordinary tickets: 25,000 Ugandan Shillings (UGX)
  • VIP tickets: 50,000 UGX
  • Platinum tickets: 100,000 UGX

Furthermore, a special category of Double Tickets will be offered, granting access to both games. However, availability for this category will be limited, and prices are as follows:

  • Ordinary Double Tickets: 40,000 UGX
  • VIP Double Tickets: 75,000 UGX

For fans holding Platinum tickets, entry to the stadium will be through the Western Gate, located adjacent to the main entrance. These tickets come with halftime hospitality packages and a limited number of parking stickers distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Finally, details regarding the colors and designated gates corresponding to each ticket category will be provided to ensure smooth entry and crowd management during the matches.
