Richard Ongorok Donates Footballs to Usuk County Teams, Pledges Continued Support

Richard Ongorok, an aspirant for Usuk County in Katakwi District, has donated three first-class footballs to the Usuk County senior and junior teams.

Ongorok also provided financial support to the junior team, the Super Marines, and promised to stay in touch with both teams to promote sports in the county.

The footballs were delivered by Simon Peter Ojaman, advisor to the Iteso Cultural Union (ICU) and His Highness Paul Sande-Etomaileng.

During the handover ceremony at Usuk Boys Primary School playground, Ojaman emphasized the importance of valuing youth based on their needs in the community.

He challenged the notion that “youth are the future leaders” and instead advocated for paving their way today.

“Do not allow yourself to be involved in negative actions. Instead, be associated with positive role models like Ongorok,” Ojaman urged the youth.

The management of the teams praised Ongorok for his generous contribution and pledged to support him in the upcoming 2026 elections.

Martin David Odeke, the team manager, encouraged fans and well-wishers to support young talents to help them achieve their goals.
