Apple has maintained its position as the most valuable brand globally, ranking first in Brand Finance’s annual “500 Most Valuable Brands in the World” study. The technology giant saw its brand value increase by 11% over the past year, reaching $574.5 billion.
According to Brand Finance, a British research and business consulting firm, Microsoft retained second place with a significant 35% growth in brand value, now standing at $461.1 billion. Google followed in third place, increasing its brand worth by 24% to $413 billion.
Amazon ranked fourth, seeing a 15% rise in brand value to $356.4 billion, while American retail giant Walmart secured the fifth position with a valuation of $137.2 billion.
South Korea’s Samsung claimed the sixth spot with a brand value of $110.6 billion. China’s social media platform TikTok ranked seventh, followed by U.S.-based Facebook in eighth place with $91.5 billion. NVIDIA, a leader in artificial intelligence and graphics processing, took ninth place with a valuation of $87.9 billion.
The tenth position was occupied by the State Grid Corporation of China, which remains one of the world’s largest utility companies.
Brand Finance’s report highlights the dominance of U.S.-based companies in the global brand market. Out of the 500 most valuable brands, 190 are located in the United States. China follows with 55 brands, while Japan has 36, France 35, Germany 27, and the United Kingdom 17.
