Ukraine was forced into a nationwide state of alert in the early hours of Tuesday following the launch of a MiG 31K fighter jet by Russian forces from the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This aircraft is known to carry Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, triggering fears of an imminent missile strike. The Ukrainian Air Force issued an urgent warning, confirming the country was under missile danger due to the movement of both manned and unmanned enemy systems.
Simultaneously, several groups of Russian strike drones were detected heading towards the Kharkiv region. This follows a series of deadly drone attacks the previous evening, which devastated Ukrainian cities and claimed civilian lives.
On the night of April 29, Russian forces targeted Kharkiv with unmanned aerial vehicles. The aftermath left at least 39 people injured, including children and a pregnant woman. In Dnipro, explosions rocked the city after enemy Shahed drones launched attacks. One drone struck a residential building, resulting in the tragic death of one civilian.
