Ukrainian military intelligence has released fresh video evidence of a successful drone strike operation targeting Russian military infrastructure in occupied Crimea. The operation, carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hit multiple high value targets including an S-300V long range surface to air missile system, along with several radar complexes operated by the occupying Russian forces.
Among the radar systems struck were the Obzor-3, Kasta-2E2, and ST-68. The coordinated drone assault was documented in operational footage shared on the Telegram platform, showing Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles striking these assets with precision.
This latest operation in the peninsula is part of a continuing campaign by Ukrainian forces to degrade the Russian military presence in Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014. This is not the first time such strategic targets have been hit. In previous months, Ukrainian forces also destroyed a Russian S-400 Triumf missile system in the region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has made it clear that Crimea is and remains part of Ukraine, rejecting any peace proposals that would see Ukraine surrender the peninsula to the Russian dictator.
