Ukrainian forces have dealt another blow to Russian occupiers, this time in the Kramatorsk direction, where drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully destroyed enemy armoured vehicles during an attempted evacuation. According to a video released by the operational-strategic group “Khortytsya”, the incident occurred when Russian troops attempted to flee the battlefield, only to be caught and eliminated by precise drone strikes.
The video, shared by the Fifth Separate Assault Brigade of the Kyiv unit, shows the destruction of an enemy armoured tractor and an MT-LB vehicle it was towing. The Russian column was targeted as it tried to escape from the conflict zone. Ukrainian defenders, operating strike drones, intercepted and eliminated the fleeing force before it could regroup. The result was described visually in the caption accompanying the video: “The enemy tried to escape from the battlefield, but the attempted escape ended with two craters.”
The Ukrainian military continues to use drone warfare effectively, especially in areas where traditional fighting units are engaged in active combat. According to military reports, these drone units conduct daily operations against Russian forces, delivering what Ukrainian troops describe as “hot meetings” to the invaders in the Kramatorsk area.
This latest strike comes shortly after similar successful drone-led operations in the Kharkiv region, where Ukrainian border guards used aerial systems to destroy enemy ammunition depots, a 2A42 gun, supply trucks, and troop gathering points.
