Kyiv, May 12 – Ukrainian forces eliminated over 200 Russian troops, including 128 confirmed fatalities, during intense fighting on the Pokrovsk front, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The report, shared via Telegram, highlighted 133 combat engagements across multiple sectors on May 12.
Russian forces conducted 45 airstrikes, dropping 79 guided aerial bombs, and launched over 3,900 artillery attacks—including 1,140 kamikaze drone strikes—targeting both Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure.
🔹 Operational Overview by Sector:
Kharkiv Sector
5 attacks were reported near Vovchansk and Krasne Pershe.
An airstrike was carried out near Dvorichna.
Kupyansk Sector
Ukrainian positions came under 5 attacks near Pishchane, Hlushkivka, and Novoosynove.
Lyman Sector
19 enemy attacks targeted positions near 11 settlements.
Three battles remained ongoing at the time of reporting.
Siverskyi Sector
Ukrainian forces repelled 6 attacks near Bilohorivka and Hryhorivka.
Kramatorsk Sector
Three enemy assaults were launched.
One was repelled successfully, while fighting continues in the remaining areas.
Toretsk Sector
Ukrainian forces faced six attacks, with two firefights still ongoing.
🔸 Pokrovsk Sector – Heaviest Fighting Reported
This front witnessed the most intense combat activity. Ukrainian forces destroyed a range of Russian military assets, including:

5 vehicles
10 motorcycles
3 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
1 satellite communication terminal
1 trench electronic warfare (EW) system
1 Murom-M surveillance complex
Additionally, two motorcycles and an artillery system were reported damaged.
Murom-M is a mobile Russian optoelectronic surveillance system used for 24/7 monitoring of Ukrainian positions and artillery coordination. It has been targeted and destroyed multiple times by Ukrainian FPV drones.
Novopavlivka Sector
15 attacks occurred, particularly near Kostiantynopil and Shevchenko.
Three battles were still active.
Huliaypole Sector
No ground assaults were recorded, but the area was hit by airstrikes.
Orikhiv Sector
Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks.
Russian forces targeted Pavlivka and Novoyakovlivka.
Prydniprovskyi Sector
Four failed assaults were reported.
The enemy also launched airstrikes on Kozatske.
Kursk Sector
Nine enemy attacks were noted, with one ongoing.
Russian forces carried out 13 airstrikes and 228 artillery attacks.
