A Russian tank attempting to flee from Ukrainian First Person View (FPV) drones did not escape in time. What was labelled a so-called “ceasefire” has once again revealed the true face of Russian aggression, as Ukrainian drones peacefully monitoring the front were targeted with brutal force.
According to a report from the Ivan Franko Group, their drone team had been engaged in a mission to quietly observe and enforce the terms of an agreed pause in combat. However, Russian troops broke the ceasefire by attacking the peaceful drones, first with a URAL vehicle carrying ammunition, followed by a howitzer strike. But the escalation did not stop there.
Later, a Russian tank was spotted trying to escape the area at high speed. The tank, likely violating speed safety limits in the contested zone, became the next target. Ukraine’s drone operators pursued the vehicle, and footage shows that the tank was unable to flee fast enough. The FPV drone caught up and delivered a direct hit, neutralising the target.
The Ivan Franko Group noted that the assault on the drones was unprovoked. “This is what a so-called ceasefire looks like,” a member of the group wrote. “When you are a small drone, anyone feels they can hurt you.”
