The 58th Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces has destroyed a column of invading Russian military vehicles, turning the battlefield into a scene of smouldering wreckage. The action unfolded following a period of concentrated rocket and artillery fire, after which Russian occupiers attempted a ground assault. However, Ukrainian forces were fully prepared and delivered a devastating counterblow.
Within just a few hours, Ukrainian troops managed to eliminate 14 enemy vehicles. The destroyed armour included one Russian tank, eight infantry fighting vehicles, two motorcycles, two buggies, and a logistics vehicle. In addition to the destroyed hardware, one infantry fighting vehicle was damaged, along with four additional buggies, motorcycles, and quad bikes.
The horizon was described as being engulfed in smoke and flames as the Russian convoy burned. According to Ukrainian reports, those enemy troops who survived the onslaught quickly retreated, leaving behind the twisted remains of their vehicles and the consequences of their command’s reckless decision.
